What do I need to bring to the Beer and Music Festival?
Bring your tickets! Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Friday August 5th (5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 6th) and the event is outside so bring comfortable clothes, hat and sunscreen. Food and Non-alcoholic beverages are included with your passes so just come prepared to have fun, sample great beers and listen to outstanding music. Lawn chairs and outside food and beverage is not permitted. Blankets are permitted and a nice way to relax on the event lawn. Beer and other merchandise will be available for purchase. ATMs will be available on site as most outlets at the festival are cash only.
What about my kids?
This is a Beer and Music Festival. Kids 4 and under are admitted free to the Festival with accompanying parent. For children 5 to 12 years of age parents can purchase passes for only $25.00 that includes All-you-can Eat food and non-alcoholic drinks.
What happens if it rains?
A few years ago we had this happen for the Deep in the Heart Concert and we moved the concert inside to our 10,000 square foot Granite Ballroom and it was a great success. Rain or Shine we will have the concert so don’t worry about the weather-leave that up to us!
Where do I park for the concert?
Included in your day pass is complimentary parking and shuttle service to and from the overflow lots at Horseshoe Bay Resort. Overflow parking is located one quarter mile west on FM 2147. Parking will be available starting at 5:30 p.m. on Friday August 5th and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday August 6th and we will have shuttle running continuously through the end of the concerts each evening.
How far away is Horseshoe Bay Resort from Austin?
We are located 45-minutes west of Austin out Hwy 71. Take Hwy 71 to the intersection of Hwy 281. Go north on Hwy 281 and then turn left on FM 2147 and go 5 miles and pass the Horseshoe Bay Resort entrance. 1/4 mile after the resort entrance you will see signs for Festival Parking. Parking lots open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday August 1st and again on Saturday August 2nd at 4:00 p.m. We will have shuttles available to pick you up and drop you off directly to the Festival Grounds. It’s easy and convenient.

Where is the event located?
Beer by the Bay Music Festival will be held at the Live Oak Event Lawn adjacent to the Horseshoe Bay Resort Hotel. Parking for the public will be at Horseshoe Bay Resort overflow parking. Shuttles will be on stand by to pick you up and drop you off at the front entrance of the Music Festival. Please see the map for directions. Can I buy passes at the door?
Yes. Across the entrance to the Festival we will have a walk-up area. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. This is based on available basis. Last year we sold out so don’t take a chance, buy your tickets early.
Can I use a credit card for beer tickets? No. But we will have an ATM available for cash ticket sales.
